Story Keep ("we", "us") helps you record voice memories and, if you choose, share them with family. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it short and honest.

What we collect

• Account info — your email and name when you sign in (via Apple, Google, or email link).
• Your memories — the voice recordings you make, their transcripts, and the questions they answer.
• Profile — an optional photo and gender you provide.
• Basic usage — when you record, to show your own activity chart. We do not sell or share this with advertisers.

How we use it

• To store and play back your memories.
• To transcribe your recordings (processed by OpenAI Whisper) and suggest follow-up questions (processed by Anthropic Claude). These providers process the audio/text to deliver the feature and do not use it to train their models on your behalf.
• To let you share specific memories with a family circle you create.

What we never do

• We never make your memories public.
• We never sell your data.
• Family members only see memories you explicitly choose to share.

Your control

You can delete any memory, leave a family circle, or delete your entire account (which permanently removes your recordings, transcripts, and profile) at any time from Settings.

Storage

Data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore + Cloud Storage). Recordings are private to your account unless shared.
